Job Summary

This role involves managing the comprehensive IT infrastructure for the Schermbeck municipal administration, including public works, fire departments, and schools. You will be responsible for the strategic planning, procurement, and maintenance of hardware and software systems, alongside ensuring robust IT security and data protection. Day-to-day tasks include managing virtualization environments (Proxmox VE), Active Directory, and VOIP systems, as well as providing 1st to 3rd-level support for approximately 110 employees. A unique aspect of this position is the mentorship of IT trainees specializing in system integration.
