Job Summary
As an IT Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of modern IT infrastructures for medium-sized clients. Your daily activities will involve planning and calculating infrastructure projects, migrating servers and applications, and implementing cloud solutions like Microsoft 365 and Exchange. You will play a critical role in network security by configuring VPNs and firewalls, while also driving automation through scripting and group policies. Beyond technical execution, you will act as a consultant, training users and decision-makers on optimized IT landscapes. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy a mix of hands-on troubleshooting, strategic system development, and client interaction. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in Windows Server administration
- Experience in managing e-mail systems, specifically Exchange Server
- Experience in system monitoring, IT documentation, and structured operating processes
- Professional experience with automation solutions and administration tools
- Practical experience in data backup and recovery
- Experience in network technology, including routing, VPN, and firewall systems
- Experience in managing external customer projects and system migrations
