Job Summary
As an Automation Planning Engineer at Hirschvogel Group, you will be at the forefront of the automotive industry's digital transformation. Based in Schongau, you will independently implement Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory projects, focusing on the design and programming of control systems. Your daily responsibilities include planning and commissioning automation systems, robotics, and processing machines, as well as modernizing existing facilities. You will also provide technical support for image processing and sensor technology rollouts across international locations. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronic Technician for Energy Systems, Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable qualification with additional certification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician (Techniker).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the field of electrical engineering
- Proven experience in handling and programming PLC control systems
- Experience in planning and commissioning automation systems and robotics
- Professional experience in implementing Industry 4.0 or Smart Factory projects
- Experience in technical support for international production sites
