Job Summary
This role involves joining the Bavarian Police Force at the Swabia South/West headquarters to manage critical information and communication technology. As part of the 'Mobile Police' initiative, you will be responsible for the independent maintenance and functionality of VoIP telecommunications systems, communication software, and network infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include installing end devices, coordinating network requirements with administration teams, and participating in product planning for the state's voice communication infrastructure. This position is unique as it offers a path to becoming a permanent civil servant (Beamtenverhältnis) within one of Germany's largest police associations. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Systems Electronic Technician, Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, IT Specialist for System Integration, or Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in the operation of IT systems, applications, and software
- Experience in network technology and IuK (Information and Communication) systems
- Proven track record of independent and responsible work habits
- Experience in technical troubleshooting and emergency support

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Must be willing to undergo and pass a security clearance check (BaySÜG). Must be willing to work flexible hours for troubleshooting and technical support outside of standard working hours. Eligibility for civil service status (up to age 45) is a prerequisite for permanent tenure.
