As a Research Manager, you will serve as the vital link between scientific research, university administration, and international partners. Your daily responsibilities will include managing day-to-day operations, coordinating recruitment processes, and overseeing infrastructure and procurement. A significant portion of the role involves professional grant management, where you will assist in preparing and administering third-party funding applications, such as ERC and Humboldt grants. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Master's level or equivalent) in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, or Biophysics).
Experience
- Professional experience in research coordination, third-party funding management, or university administration
- Experience in managing administrative processes including procurement and infrastructure
- Proven experience in independent correspondence in both German and English
- Experience in the preparation and coordination of complex funding applications
- Knowledge of the German higher education and university administration system

- The position is initially fixed-term and offered at 50% capacity, though full-time is negotiable. Candidates must be willing to work at the Interfaculty Institute of Biochemistry in Tübingen.
