Job Summary
As a Chemical Laboratory Technician specializing in Product Safety, you will serve as a vital link between chemistry, product safety, and legislation. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve ensuring that products are both effective and legally compliant by monitoring and interpreting various regulations such as REACH, CLP, Biocide, and Cosmetics regulations. You will be responsible for translating complex legal requirements into clear, practical documentation and maintaining close collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory authorities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, independent work with a high degree of responsibility. Required Skills
Education
Basic chemical education (Apprenticeship, Higher Technical Institute (HTL), University of Applied Sciences, or University degree).
Experience
- Professional experience or foundational training in chemistry (Apprenticeship, Technical College, or University level)
- Experience in interpreting and applying legal texts and regulatory frameworks within a chemical context
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical or legal content clearly and understandably
- Experience in collaborative teamwork and interacting with external authorities
