Job Summary

As a Compliance Verification Engineer at BRP-Rotax, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the cybersecurity compliance of ROTAX aircraft engine control systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve establishing a traceable compliance verification process, including the creation of quality management documentation, guidelines, and approval workflows. You will review critical engineering artifacts such as security concepts, threat and risk analyses, and test evidence. A key part of the role involves defining compliance strategies in collaboration with system, hardware, and software engineering teams. Additionally, you will plan and document RTCA/DO-160 environmental and immunity tests with internal and external laboratories. This position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy working at the intersection of high-stakes regulation and cutting-edge propulsion technology. The role offers a structured yet dynamic environment within the global powersports industry, focusing on making mobility smarter and safer.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in certification, Office of Airworthiness, systems engineering, or cybersecurity engineering within a regulated environment
  • Proven expertise in cybersecurity verification and compliance, ideally related to aircraft control systems
  • Practical experience reviewing engineering artifacts and creating technical guidelines and standards
  • Experience with planning, conducting, and documenting RTCA/DO-160 tests is highly preferred
