Job Summary

As a Senior IT Portfolio and Service Alignment Manager for the City of Frankfurt, you will act as the primary point of contact for municipal clients to harmonize the cross-sectional IT landscape. Your daily responsibilities include optimizing the IT service portfolio by identifying redundancies, analyzing potential improvements, and implementing standardization measures. You will bridge the gap between technical IT operations and client needs, coordinating operational tasks while reporting on customer satisfaction. This role is central to the city's digital transformation, requiring you to translate high-level IT strategies into concrete operational actions. You will work within the 'Service Design' department to develop future-proof solutions for central services like data centers, collaboration platforms, and document management systems. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration and want to make a meaningful impact on public sector digitalization in a flexible, modern work environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Digitalization, Information Management, Business Administration, Public Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience following a university degree
  • Several years of professional experience in customer service within an IT service context
  • Proven experience in managing and implementing change and standardization processes
  • Experience working within the public sector is preferred
  • Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration and managing complex client situations
