Job Summary

This role involves hands-on technical work in geotechnics and construction material testing, primarily focusing on field and laboratory investigations. The successful candidate will assist with ground investigations, including accompanying field surveys and sampling, and conduct soil mechanics tests such as plate load tests. A key aspect of the job is quality assurance, performing testing and monitoring on construction sites, particularly in road construction, landfill construction, and general groundworks. Additionally, the role requires performing laboratory tests on soil mechanics. Ideal candidates will possess practical skills, technical understanding, and the ability to work independently and conscientiously, while also being a team player with strong organizational skills and a customer-friendly demeanor. Physical resilience and a Class B driving license are essential.
