Job Summary

As a Hardware Engineer at Nord-Micro, a division of Collins Aerospace, you will join an integrated product development team focused on electronic hardware for the aviation industry. Your daily responsibilities involve designing and developing hardware according to strict aviation certification standards. You will play a critical role in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) analysis, using complex tools to identify potential issues early in the design phase. Additionally, you will interpret customer requirements and aviation-specific power quality standards to define, coordinate, and execute testing in internal and external laboratories. This role is highly impactful as it directly contributes to the safety of global flight systems. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a similar field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in EMC for embedded real-time systems
  • Professional experience in power electronics is highly desirable
  • Experience in interpreting customer requirements and aviation-specific standards
  • Experience in conducting and documenting laboratory tests and technical reports
