Job Summary
As a PLC Programmer and Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of control software for industrial machinery and systems. Your daily activities will include creating PLC and visualization software using Siemens TIA Portal and S7, planning system architectures, and performing on-site commissioning. You will also play a key role in project management by supporting the creation of quotations, technical specifications, and functional descriptions. Beyond programming, you will conduct rigorous system testing, error analysis, and continuous optimization of existing machinery. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training, technician certification, or a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience
- Professional experience with common PLC control systems, specifically Siemens S7
- Experience with visualization systems such as WinCC and TIA Portal
- Professional background in mechanical and plant engineering or a comparable industrial sector
- Experience in creating technical specifications and operating manuals
