Job Summary
This role involves the commissioning of complex electrical systems, power generation, and energy management systems specifically for the maritime industry. Based out of Bremen or Rostock, you will be responsible for organizing and executing commissioning processes on ships, including the world's largest and most modern yachts. Your daily tasks will involve troubleshooting in collaboration with manufacturers and design teams, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards, and adhering to strict classification society requirements. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering; advanced qualifications such as Master Craftsman (Meister), Technician, or a Degree in Electrical Engineering are preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience in new construction, service, and commissioning within the shipbuilding industry
- Practical experience in the commissioning of power generation and distribution systems
- Experience working in compliance with classification society regulations
- Experience in technical troubleshooting and collaborative problem-solving with engineering departments
