This role involves the independent planning and project management of measurement and control automation systems for a prominent industrial automation company in Hagen. You will be responsible for selecting and configuring hardware components, developing application-specific control software, and establishing programming standards. A key part of the position includes creating automation concepts for measuring devices and technological controls, as well as ensuring the timely delivery of programs for controllers, drives, and visualizations. Beyond technical development, you will conduct product testing with specialist departments, train project engineers and field staff, and handle commissioning both domestically and internationally. Required Skills

Education

  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable field, preferably within the cold rolling industry
  • Professional experience in automation and drive technology
  • Experience in the configuration of hardware components and creation of control software
  • Experience in conducting domestic and international commissioning
