Job Summary
As a Laboratory Technician at Wupperverband, you will play a vital role in environmental protection by analyzing wastewater samples for research projects and daily operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities include preparing samples and conducting a variety of analytical procedures, ranging from gravimetry and titrimetry to advanced high-tech methods like Ion Chromatography and ICP-OES. You will be responsible for the structured evaluation and documentation of results within a quality-managed environment. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in chemistry or biology who enjoys working with modern analytical equipment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), Biological-Technical Assistant (BTA), or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in chemical or biological laboratory analysis
- Practical experience in standard analytical procedures (CSB, BSB, TOC, TNb)
- Experience working with laboratory quality management (QM) systems
- Experience in operating modern analytical instruments and software
