Job Summary

This role sits at the intersection of hardware and software engineering within Apple's Silicon Engineering team. As an Analog Mixed-Signal (AMS) Modeling Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the software representations and specialized tools that bring future hardware to life. Your day-to-day will involve architecting simulation environments, building scientific software packages, and implementing constraint-driven placement and routing algorithms for analog circuit design. You will work on the automation frameworks and optimization algorithms that enable designers to create the physical interfaces for world-leading SoCs. This position is unique because it applies modern software design methodologies to complex hardware challenges, requiring a professional who can navigate both the designer's intent and the underlying software architecture. It offers the chance to build custom hardware description libraries and web-based visualization tools that directly impact the efficiency of hundreds of hardware designers working on the next generation of iPhone and iPad processors.
