Job Summary
This role is based in Duisburg with an international leader in heavy plate processing, focusing on ensuring high manufacturing standards within their laser and processing departments. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will perform daily inspections using both conventional measuring tools and advanced 3D measuring arms. Your responsibilities include process monitoring, root cause analysis for defects, and the creation of detailed inspection reports, specifically Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR) following VDA standards. You will also conduct non-destructive testing to verify material integrity. Required Skills
Education
Certifications in Material Testing (specifically Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2 and Penetrant Testing Level 2) are required.
Experience
- Professional experience in quality assurance within the metal or steel industry
- Proven experience in non-destructive testing with valid MT and PT Level 2 certifications
- Experience in creating technical documentation and inspection reports according to VDA standards
- Practical experience in operating 3D measuring systems and conventional measurement tools
