Job Summary

As a Sub-Project Manager in Shipbuilding, you will be responsible for the planning and coordination of constructive designs, focusing specifically on ship theory, safety, and structural integrity. Your daily routine involves acting as a vital link between design and production departments to ensure seamless project workflows. You will take on the professional leadership of a sub-project team and manage high-level communication with international clients, classification societies, flag states, and suppliers. A significant part of the role includes technical procurement tasks, such as creating specifications, evaluating supplier bids, and overseeing external design partners in the structural sector. This position is particularly attractive for experienced engineers looking to combine technical shipbuilding expertise with leadership responsibilities within a globally recognized engineering group.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Shipbuilding, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in shipbuilding or special-purpose machinery manufacturing
