Job Summary
This role involves developing and adapting PLC programs and visualization systems for special-purpose machinery and industrial automation. Working for a medium-sized electrical engineering firm with over 40 years of experience, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of automation projects, including drive technology integration using Siemens TIA, WinCC, Rexroth, and Lenze systems. Day-to-day tasks include commissioning equipment at customer sites, providing technical training, and creating detailed documentation. You will also support customers through remote maintenance and on-site service calls. This position is ideal for a specialist who enjoys a mix of office-based programming and hands-on field work. The role is particularly attractive due to its high level of autonomy, a company vehicle, and a stable work environment within a highly flexible team of experts.
Required Skills
Education
State-certified Technician in Electrical/Automation Engineering or a completed vocational training in the electrical field with corresponding professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming and visualization within an industrial environment
- Practical experience with drive technology and industrial bus systems
- Experience in customer service and direct client interaction
- Proven track record in independent, customer-oriented project execution
