Job Summary
This part-time leadership role (30 hours/week) involves overseeing the financial operations of a non-profit social services provider in the Waldshut district. As the Commercial Director, you will lead a small team of three, managing financial planning, investment strategies, and annual financial statements. A core focus of the position is the strategic modernization of the organization, including building a controlling management system and driving the digitalization of administrative structures. You will act as a key liaison for external stakeholders and lead negotiations regarding service and fee agreements. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys high levels of creative freedom and decision-making authority (Prokura) within a meaningful social context. The role offers a permanent contract, flexible working hours, and mobile work options, set against the scenic backdrop of the Southern Black Forest.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Controlling, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of leadership experience in a commercial or financial department
- Professional experience in finance, accounting, and controlling
- Experience in developing organizational and administrative structures
- Proven track record in managing transformation processes and digitalization
- Experience in the social economy sector is highly desirable
- Experience in preparing and accompanying annual audits
