Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive responsibility for the planning, tendering, awarding, and construction supervision of maintenance measures within the drinking water network, adhering to HOAI service phases 1 to 9. The successful candidate will plan essential maintenance and rehabilitation projects for both drinking and raw water networks, create detailed service specifications, oversee acceptance procedures, and support commissioning processes. A key aspect of the role is conducting network condition classification and evaluation, contributing to the development and implementation of maintenance and condition assessment strategies. The position also requires planning cleaning operations within the water networks and maintaining service specifications for framework agreements. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering with focus on Urban Water Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Environmental Protection) OR State-certified Technician or Master in Civil Engineering

Experience

  • Professional experience in the implementation of construction measures, or willingness to acquire these skills during a development period
  • Alternatively, several years of professional experience in the realization of pipeline construction projects in the drinking water sector (for technicians/masters)
  • Knowledge in the operation of drinking water networks is advantageous
  • Knowledge in condition assessment is advantageous
