Job Summary
As a Control Systems Software Developer at WAGO Solutions, you will play a critical role in developing and advancing control functions for power plants and industrial systems. Your daily responsibilities will involve implementing control concepts into production-grade software using IEC 61131-3 and CODESYS, alongside mathematical modeling, analysis, and simulation of control loops. You will be responsible for parameterization, controller tuning, and stability analysis, while also interpreting industry standards to derive software requirements. This position is particularly attractive for those who enjoy a mix of theoretical analysis and hands-on application, as you will support commissioning activities and evaluate field data. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Control Engineering or a comparable STEM degree.
Experience
- Professional experience in software development for technical systems
- Experience in mathematical-analytical modeling and analysis of control systems
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
- Experience in object-oriented software development is preferred
- Knowledge of energy sector communication protocols (Modbus TCP, IEC 60870-5-104) is an advantage
