Job Summary
This role involves supporting a leading sterilization and microbiology firm in the Kernen area. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of routine microbiological orders, including the preparation and production of culture media. Your duties will extend to the professional cleaning, disinfection, and preparation of laboratory materials and test samples, as well as managing sterilization processes for equipment. You will also play a key role in laboratory organization by coordinating consumables and lab attire. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy working in a modern, innovative environment with a focus on quality. The role offers an attractive hourly wage of 19–23 EUR, a 35-hour work week, and excellent long-term career prospects including potential permanent takeover by the partner company.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Medical Laboratory Assistant (MTA), Chemistry/Biology Laboratory Technician, or Pharmacist. Alternatively, a degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Food Chemistry, or Pharmacy.
Experience
- Professional experience in a laboratory environment
- Experience in microbiological routine tasks and sample processing
- Practical experience in handling laboratory equipment and sterilization tools
- Proven ability to work independently and responsibly within a team setting
