Job Summary
As a Technical Laboratory Assistant in Martinsried, you will be a vital contributor to the development of cutting-edge proteomics workflows and LC-MS-based solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the independent planning, execution, and documentation of laboratory experiments, specifically focusing on proteomic sample preparation and measurements on LC-MS systems. You will handle biological samples under biosafety level 1 and 2 conditions, ensure meticulous maintenance of laboratory equipment, and assist in training colleagues on new workflows. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys hands-on wet lab work and wants to contribute to a high-growth life sciences environment. Required Skills
Education
Master of Science (M.Sc.) in a scientific field or a completed vocational training as a Technical Assistant (e.g., BTA, CTA, MTA).
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a technical assistant or an equivalent Master's degree
- Hands-on experience in a biochemical wet lab environment
- Experience with HPLC and/or MS analysis is preferred
- Experience in handling and maintaining LC-MS instrumentation is advantageous
- Professional experience in planning, executing, and documenting scientific experiments

- Must be willing to work with potentially infectious human or animal samples (plasma, serum, tissue) under biosafety level 1 and 2 conditions. Role is based on-site in Martinsried, Germany.
