Job Summary

This role involves shaping the energy transition by planning and implementing automation projects for renewable energy systems, including battery storage, photovoltaic plants, and combined heat and power units. Day-to-day, you will program and commission energy management systems using WAGO PLCs, create visualization solutions, and handle remote troubleshooting and analysis. You will be responsible for integrating energy data into central systems and implementing communication interfaces such as Modbus, IEC60870, and REST-API. This position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy collaborative environments, as you will work closely with internal electrical planners and designers. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or Electronics, ideally with further qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman; or a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Information Technology.

Experience

  • Professional experience in PLC programming using CodeSys V3.5 or Siemens S7
  • Practical experience in energy technology and energy management systems
  • Experience in planning and implementing automation projects for PV, battery storage, or BHKW systems
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting and remote system analysis
