Your day-to-day responsibilities involve developing and implementing IT security strategies, managing infrastructure protection across networks and cloud environments, and conducting risk assessments. You will lead security awareness training for staff, manage incident responses, and ensure compliance with standards like ISO 27001 and GDPR. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to act as a bridge between international group policies from the UK and local German operations. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of practical experience in IT security or information security
  • Professional experience in network security, endpoint protection, SIEM, and cloud security
  • Experience working with security certifications and common frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST
  • Experience in managing external security service providers and controlling KPIs/SLAs
  • Experience in developing and implementing IT security policies and strategies
