Job Summary
This role involves leading a specialized team of 3-5 professionals within the Research & Development department of a leading German biotechnology company. As a Group Lead, you will be responsible for both the disciplinary and technical management of your team, focusing on the development and validation of PCR and other Nucleic Acid Amplification (NAA) assays for In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) as well as food and feed analysis. You will work in a highly interdisciplinary environment, collaborating with global teams to identify and implement innovative technologies and customer-oriented product solutions. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in natural sciences with a PhD (Doctorate/Dr. rer. nat.)
Experience
- 3-5 years of professional experience in the industry, preferably in the IVD sector or comparable fields
- Proven expertise in the development of PCR or NAA assays
- Initial experience in leading and developing employees
- Experience working in interdisciplinary and global project teams
- Professional experience in a structured, solution-oriented R&D environment
