Job Summary

As a Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, construction, and continuous optimization of industrial machinery and assemblies. Your day-to-day work involves planning and managing development projects while ensuring cost, schedule, and quality targets are met. You will apply modern design principles and manufacturing processes, utilizing CAD, PLM, and simulation tools to bring concepts to life. This role is highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with interdisciplinary teams, production, and external partners. What makes this position unique is the hands-on approach, allowing you to be involved from the initial concept phase through to final commissioning. The role offers the opportunity to work on international projects, requiring occasional worldwide travel to coordinate with global stakeholders. It is an ideal position for a proactive engineer who enjoys technical problem-solving and cross-functional team moderation within a diverse corporate culture.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field (e.g., Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the development and design of industrial machinery or plants
  • Proven experience in participating in or leading technical development projects
  • Extensive experience with modern construction principles and manufacturing methods
  • Experience in interdisciplinary team moderation and stakeholder communication
