Job Summary

As an Automation Engineer or Technician, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of automation projects, primarily focusing on the creation of PLC programs based on internal company standards. Your day-to-day work involves configuring control systems and various bus systems, followed by on-site commissioning at customer locations throughout Germany and neighboring countries. You will serve as the primary technical contact for automation projects, actively troubleshooting and resolving complex interface issues between machines. Beyond maintenance, you will independently develop new concepts for electrotechnical functions and software architecture. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys technical problem-solving and direct customer interaction. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field; alternatively, a completed technical vocational training with further qualification as an Electrical Technician.

Experience

  • Relevant professional experience in programming
  • Experience in the configuration of control systems and bus systems
  • Professional experience in commissioning systems at customer sites
  • Experience in developing software architecture and electrotechnical concepts
  • Proven experience in customer service and technical project management
