Job Summary

As a Process Engineer in Food Technology, you will be responsible for the planning and conceptual design of new plants, repairs, and modifications within the chemical and food industries. Your day-to-day activities involve designing P&ID flowcharts in coordination with clients, calculating process parameters for optimal plant design, and creating technical data sheets for equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers, and tanks. You will also handle cost estimation, project scheduling, and process simulation to optimize plant performance. A unique aspect of this role is the involvement in regulatory engineering, including the preparation of BImSchG documentation for permit procedures. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree (Bachelor, Master, or Diploma) in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the planning and conception of plants in the chemical or food industry
  • Experience in calculating process engineering parameters for plant design
  • Experience using simulation software, preferably ChemCad
  • Experience in creating technical data sheets and handling project documentation
  • Experience in budget control and project scheduling
