As a Hardware Developer at Brunel, you will take on a pivotal role in the end-to-end development of electrical and electronic components, specifically focusing on analog and digital circuit design within 12V/24V environments. Your daily responsibilities will involve designing and evaluating actuators and sensors, creating complex PCB layouts, and managing the entire development lifecycle. Beyond technical design, you will act as a key interface between internal departments, external service providers, and customers, ensuring that projects meet strict deadlines, cost targets, and quality standards. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in hardware development and PCB layout
  • Experience in the automotive industry is preferred
  • Experience with layout tools, specifically Altium Designer
  • Experience with C++ development
  • Experience with bus systems such as CAN and LIN
  • Experience in coordinating external service providers and suppliers
  • Professional experience in system design and initial exposure to Cyber Security
