Job Summary
This role involves the technical maintenance and operation of property and building systems at the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU), specifically at the Landau location. As a technical staff member, you will be responsible for the installation, modification, and repair of refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation systems. You will also oversee systems requiring regular monitoring, such as compressed air generators and room air technology. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician, Refrigeration Technician, or Refrigeration Plant Constructor; or a comparable qualification with relevant experience.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in refrigeration, air conditioning, or ventilation technology
- Extensive experience in the installation and repair of technical building systems
- Practical experience working with modern DCC control units
- Experience in managing systems subject to mandatory monitoring

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Willingness to undergo intensive further technical training. Flexibility to work outside regular hours, including weekends and on-call shifts.
