Job Summary
As a Laboratory Manager in Bad Lauterberg, you will take full disciplinary and technical responsibility for the operations of an industrial and coatings laboratory within the mineral raw materials industry. Your daily routine will involve ensuring rigorous quality assurance through production and shipping samples, as well as planning and evaluating analytical investigations. You will play a pivotal role in the manufacturing, application, and testing of paints and coatings while serving as a vital interface between the laboratory, production, and sales departments. This position is ideal for a proactive leader who enjoys a mix of hands-on product development and high-level process optimization. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Chemistry, Coatings Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable qualification/extensive professional experience in a related field.
Experience
- Professional experience including personnel leadership in a chemical or coatings technology environment
- Experience in the manufacturing, application, and testing of paints and coatings
- Proven track record in analytical investigation planning and data interpretation
- Experience working as a cross-departmental interface between production and sales

- Willingness to take on the role of Occupational Safety Specialist (SiFa) is desirable. Must be able to work on-site in Bad Lauterberg.
