Job Summary
As a Plant Operator in the ESBR Finishing department at Synthos Schkopau GmbH, you will be responsible for the continuous operation and monitoring of synthetic rubber production facilities. Your daily activities involve managing production parameters from both the control room and on-site, performing manual machine adjustments, and conducting regular safety inspections. You will play a critical role in troubleshooting process deviations, performing first-line maintenance such as seal replacements, and ensuring high quality standards through regular sampling and analysis. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Technician (Chemikant), Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in plant operations, ideally within a rubber production environment
- Experience in physical-chemical and process engineering technologies
- Experience with preventive maintenance and first-line technical repairs
- Experience working within a 12-hour continuous shift system
- Experience in troubleshooting and identifying causes for process deviations

Additional
- Must be willing to work in a 12-hour continuous shift system (38.5 hours/week). Forklift and crane licenses are preferred but not mandatory. High level of safety awareness regarding health, fire, and explosion protection is required.
