Job Summary

As a Component Inspector for Airbus Aerostructures in Bremen, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in the single-part production area. Your daily tasks include preparing and performing visual, incoming, and first-article inspections (FAI) to ensure full compliance with development documents and customer requirements. You will document all inspection results in specialized IT systems like SAP and IRS, manage component complaints, and track quality notifications. This role is integral to the production cycle, involving the compilation of aircraft documentation and participation in quality optimization processes. The position is particularly attractive due to the association with a global aerospace leader, offering a permanent contract, up to 30 days of vacation, and specialized training opportunities within the aviation industry. It is a structured, high-responsibility role that requires close collaboration across different departments to maintain safety and excellence in aerospace manufacturing.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Aircraft Electronics Technician, Aircraft Mechanic, or a comparable qualification in a metalworking profession.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the aerospace industry
  • Proven experience in quality management and quality assurance
  • Experience with Total Quality Management and problem-solving methodologies
  • Practical experience using SAP and digital documentation tools
  • Experience in shift work environments
