Job Summary
As an AI / LLM Engineer at DAHAG Rechtsservices AG, you will join a specialized team within a larger development department of 30 professionals to advance legal-tech innovation. Your daily responsibilities involve developing and optimizing LLM-based applications, training machine learning models, and managing the FastAPI backend alongside PostgreSQL and vector databases. You will work closely with specialist departments to evaluate technical feasibility for AI use cases and refine prompts and model configurations. This role is ideal for those who enjoy high levels of creative freedom and independent decision-making. The position is particularly attractive due to a standard 35-hour work week, flexible remote work options (up to 50%), and a collaborative environment where employee initiatives for new benefits are encouraged. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the development of productive AI, ML, and LLM applications
- Extensive experience with Python and related frameworks like FastAPI and LangChain
- Experience in managing and maintaining PostgreSQL and vector databases
- Experience with DevOps tools including GitLab CI and Docker Swarm
- Proven track record in training and evaluating machine learning models
