Job Summary
As a Laboratory Technician at TEG in Reichenbach, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and shaping a new testing laboratory for technical textiles and filter media. Your daily responsibilities involve conducting physical and mechanical tests—such as measuring basis weight, thickness, air permeability, and tensile strength—while evaluating filtration performance regarding particle filtration and pressure loss. Beyond routine testing, you will actively collaborate with production and development teams to validate new materials and ensure compliance with industry standards. Required Skills
Education

Experience
- Professional experience in a testing laboratory, ideally focused on technical textiles, materials, or filtration
- Experience in performing physical and mechanical tests such as thickness, air permeability, and tensile strength
- Experience in creating technical test reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Experience or strong motivation to work with relevant industry standards and norms
- Proven track record of structured and independent work within a technical environment
