Job Summary
This role as a Test Engineer within the Global Products Group focuses on supporting panel equipment production for the semiconductor industry. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of test procedures for new products, moving from pilot phases to high-volume manufacturing. Day-to-day tasks include designing and building manufacturing test fixtures, validating new test software, and performing root cause analysis on non-conformances to improve product quality. You will work cross-functionally with design and supplier engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and reduce test cycle times. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex systems and has a strong background in electro-mechanical assemblies. It offers the unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge semiconductor technology in an international environment with a stable, permanent contract in Salzburg.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience/qualification (e.g., State-certified Technician).
Experience
- 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6 years with a Master's degree
- Professional experience in testing and assembling electro-mechanical assemblies
- Experience in troubleshooting vacuum, pressure, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Experience in creating and modifying manufacturing test scripts
- Experience in semiconductor capital equipment (preferred)
