Job Summary
This role focuses on bringing automation projects to life within the Welding Automation division, where you will develop custom automated welding systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities include PLC programming and robot integration, working closely with engineering teams to prepare and install machine software. You will be responsible for testing system functionality on prototypes and final machines, occasionally working directly at customer sites. Post-delivery, you will support the application technology team via remote maintenance to ensure successful customer acceptance. This position is ideal for a passionate programmer who enjoys technical problem-solving and teamwork. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical education in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Computer Science (Technical High School/HTL, University of Applied Sciences, or University).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in PLC and robot programming
- Experience in the preparation and installation of plant software
- Proven experience in independent, structured, and task-oriented project execution
- Experience working within cross-functional engineering teams

- Occasional travel to customer sites or for prototype testing is required. Must be able to work at the Steinhaus/Sattledt location.
