Job Summary
As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Körber, you will play a pivotal role in the technical execution of new projects within the Mechanical Design Customised department. Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing modules for standard machinery, specifically focusing on blister and sachet packaging machines, and designing customized variations of assemblies and individual parts. You will be responsible for the dimensioning of pneumatic and servo-motor drives, conducting design reviews, and creating essential technical documentation such as functional descriptions and risk assessments. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in the technical processing of mechanical engineering projects
- Demonstrated experience in the development of modules for standard and customized machinery
- Practical experience using 3D CAD software, specifically Siemens NX
- Experience working with ERP and PLM systems such as SAP and Teamcenter
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration and coordinating with external service providers
