As a Service Technician at BauGPT, you will be responsible for the installation, programming, and commissioning of advanced security and telecommunications technology. Based in Oederan, your daily activities involve maintaining and troubleshooting systems including fire alarms (BMA), intrusion detection (EMA), video surveillance, and access control. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers, providing on-site support, remote diagnostics, and technical instruction. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, or a comparable qualification (e.g., Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering, security technology, or IT system technology
- Proven experience in at least one specialized area: Intrusion detection, fire alarms, video surveillance, or access control
- Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation and test protocols according to industry standards
- Experience in customer-facing roles including on-site support and system instruction

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Participation in on-call service (emergency standby) is required. Location: Oederan, Germany.
