Job Summary
This role involves the planning and delivery of inter-company vocational training courses for apprentices in the construction sector, with a specialized focus on hydraulic engineering. Day-to-day, you will conduct both practical and theoretical instruction covering critical skills such as bank reinforcement, surveying, formwork, reinforcement, concrete construction, and earthworks. You will be responsible for designing learning tasks, evaluating apprentice performance, and providing individualized support to ensure student success. A key part of the position involves collaborating with a team of instructors and maintaining professional communication with training companies, vocational schools, and examination boards. This is an attractive opportunity for a construction professional looking to transition into education, offering a stable full-time or part-time schedule with 30 days of annual leave and a structured Monday-to-Friday work week.
