Job Summary

This role involves overseeing the safe and efficient operation of an electrochemical laboratory, ensuring full compliance with safety and chemical regulations. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for the conditioning and characterization of redox-active electrolytes, such as vanadium or organic systems. You will set up, commission, and maintain redox-flow battery cells at a laboratory scale while planning and executing complex electrochemical experiments including cyclization, polarization measurements, and efficiency analysis. A significant part of the role includes ensuring reproducible results through structured documentation and standardized protocols. Required Skills

Education

University degree or advanced technical training (Technician) in Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable engineering field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a chemical or electrochemical laboratory environment
  • Experience in the setup and commissioning of battery test stands
  • Experience in planning, conducting, and evaluating electrochemical experiments
  • Experience in technical supervision of staff or students in a lab setting
  • Experience in battery technology, specifically Redox-Flow systems, is preferred
