Job Summary

As a Systems Engineer for Telecommunication Missions, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end development of satellite architectures. Working closely with the System Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for defining satellite internal and external interfaces, managing technical budgets—including power, mass properties, and telemetry—and ensuring full compliance with technical requirements. Your day-to-day will involve flowing down satellite requirements to subsystems, overseeing spacecraft validation, and defining test specifications for system-level verification campaigns. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-stakes aerospace projects from initial proposal phases through to launch and flight operations. You will be instrumental in project risk management and the preparation of launcher interfaces, making this an ideal role for a proactive engineer looking to handle complex technical negotiations and large-scale system integration in the space industry.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in satellite studies (Phase A/B), proposals, and implementation projects (Phase B2/C/D)
  • Experience in technical negotiations with customers
  • Proven experience in managing technical system budgets and requirement flow-down
  • Experience in satellite test preparation and evaluation of test results
