Job Summary
This critical role involves overseeing the safe and reliable operation of a Passenger Transport System (PTS) at a major airport. As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead a dedicated maintenance team, ensuring all scheduled and corrective maintenance tasks are completed according to strict safety protocols and manuals. You will organize workshop workflows, manage material availability, and collaborate closely with Field Service Engineers to optimize maintenance programs. Additionally, you will serve as a Dispatcher, monitoring and controlling vehicle operations. A significant portion of the role involves emergency management, where you will coordinate responses to technical failures, evacuations, and rescues. This position is ideal for a technical professional with leadership experience who thrives in high-stakes environments. Required Skills
Education
Completed 3-year technical vocational training (Electrical or Mechanical) plus a 2-year qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician.
Experience
- Professional experience in the technical operation or maintenance of complex systems
- Experience in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting across electronic, electrical, or mechanical subsystems
- Leadership experience in a supervisory or shift lead capacity
- Experience working within strict operational guidelines and safety regulations
