Job Summary
This role involves conducting emission measurements, functional tests, and calibrations within the field of air pollution control for a leading engineering firm. On a day-to-day basis, the technician will prepare measurement equipment, set up and dismantle measurement vehicles, and perform maintenance and repairs on specialized measurement devices. The position is highly dynamic, with approximately 50-60% of the time spent in the field at various industrial sites across Germany. Candidates need a technical background in environmental or electrical engineering and must enjoy a mix of hands-on workshop tasks and field service. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training or further education in Environmental Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in technical field service or manual/craftsmanship roles
- Practical experience in air pollution control and measurement technology preferred
- Experience in the maintenance, repair, and development of technical measurement devices
- Proven ability to work independently in a project-based environment
