Job Summary

This role involves taking central responsibility for technical project initiation and quality assurance within large-scale grid expansion projects for a leading European transmission system operator. Day-to-day, you will develop and standardize technical methods, review engineering concepts, and oversee gate checklists and documentation. You will act as a pivotal interface between network operators and internal departments, coordinating technical scope management and cross-project change orders. A significant part of the role includes fostering knowledge transfer through technical forums and onboarding programs for new staff. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable field of study; IPMA Project Management certification is required.

Experience

  • Professional experience working with electro-energy systems, specifically in high and extra-high voltage ranges
  • Proven experience in technical project management, including planning and execution of grid expansion projects
  • Experience in developing technical guidelines, templates, and process standards
  • Demonstrated experience in interdisciplinary collaboration and managing complex stakeholder interests
  • Experience in technical knowledge transfer and organizing professional training forums
