Job Summary
As an Electrical Design Engineer in the automotive sector, you will be responsible for the development and design of electrical on-board networks (12V / 230V) for vehicles. Your daily tasks involve the layout, integration, and documentation of critical components including charging systems, inverters, battery management, solar panels, and climate control systems. You will utilize CAD systems like NX-Schematics to create detailed circuit diagrams, wiring harnesses, and bills of materials. A significant part of the role involves coordinating technical interfaces between the vehicle chassis and interior construction while ensuring strict compliance with safety standards and regulations such as EMC and VDE. This position is ideal for a technical professional looking to work on complex vehicle systems in a full-time, permanent capacity. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification such as a State-Certified Electrical Technician.
Experience
- Professional experience in the development and design of electrical systems
- Experience in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry is preferred
- Practical knowledge of on-board network architectures and power distribution
- Experience with CAD software, specifically NX-Schematics
