This role is for a Customer Support Engineer specializing in firewall administration, working with Airbus Secure Land Communications. The position involves the setup, installation, and maintenance of firewall and network infrastructure solutions, ensuring network performance and stability. Key responsibilities include analyzing and resolving complex network issues, managing changes, releases, and configurations, and creating technical documentation. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification; or completed vocational training.

Experience

  • Professional experience as an IT Systems Electronics Technician
  • Extensive experience in planning and administration of network and firewall infrastructures
  • Foundational experience in network technology and TCP/IP
  • Foundational experience with digital switching technology, ideally with DXT-systems (Nokia)
  • Foundational experience with mobile communication technologies
