Job Summary
As a Medical Informatics Specialist at the Städtisches Klinikum Karlsruhe, you will join a team of over 40 IT professionals dedicated to supporting a maximum-care hospital environment. Your daily responsibilities will involve the maintenance and expansion of clinical information and subsystems across 27 clinics and institutes. You will act as a vital bridge between medical departments and technical infrastructure, translating non-technical requirements into IT solutions and potentially leading IT sub-projects during new software implementations. This role is ideal for those who enjoy collaborative problem-solving and technical documentation within a large-scale healthcare setting. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Medical Informatics or an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in the healthcare sector or related fields
- Experience in the support and administration of clinical information or subsystems
- Experience in managing technical interfaces and system integrations
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in IT project or sub-project leadership is preferred
