Job Summary
This role involves performing service and commissioning tasks on electrical energy systems both at the factory and on-site at customer locations. You will be responsible for testing, evaluating, and documenting systems and components, including protection and control functions. A significant part of the day-to-day work involves parameterizing and programming digital protection, telecontrol, and field control devices from various manufacturers. You will use modern diagnostic and testing equipment to interpret measurement results and develop technical protection and communication concepts in coordination with network operators and internal departments. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in electrical engineering; further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister), Technician, or a degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience in service or commissioning of electrical energy systems
- Experience in testing and documenting protection and control functions
- Experience in parameterization and programming of digital field control devices
- Experience in interpreting measurement results from diagnostic equipment
- Programming experience is highly desirable
